About the Artist
MEET THE LIVE WEDDING ARTIST
My name is Kiziah, born in the Philippines and now based in Australia (Perth, WA), my journey as an artist began in the most unexpected way — through YouTube tutorials and a deep curiosity for acrylic painting. What started as a quiet hobby soon became a meaningful creative outlet, leading me to paint for friends and exhibit my work.
In 2022, my painting “When Scars Become Art” won the People’s Choice Award at the Belmont Art Awards — a piece you can view on my other site: http://www.kizharts.com.au.
Later, I began experimenting with oil painting after a friend requested a portrait.
That sparked new possibilities — and eventually led to people asking if I offered live wedding painting. At first, I was hesitant. The idea of painting in front of a crowd felt overwhelming. But everything changed when a photographer friend asked me to live-paint a wedding as a surprise for his clients. That one experience opened a new chapter for me.
In February 2025, I officially launched my live wedding painting service — and I’ve never looked back. Each painting I create captures not just how your day looks, but how it feels, preserving the heart of your celebration on canvas.
